Built by Those Who Drive: Braden Judge helps Dezert Dayz Racing Take Victory at the 2026 Vegas to Reno

Braden Judge, Agency 6's videographer and content creator, recently put that experience to the test at the 2026 Vegas to Reno, helping Team Dezert Dayz Racing take a class victory after more than 500 miles of Nevada desert.

Braden's been racing for most of his life. He started motocross at just four years old before quickly transitioning to four-wheel off-road racing. 

At 18, Braden already has a decade of competitive four-wheel racing experience, and much of that experience has come alongside his father, Beau Judge, a highly experienced and accomplished racer across multiple motorsports disciplines.

"I like the competition," Braden explained. "I'm driven by wanting to win and wanting to prove how good I can be."

That experience behind the wheel gives Braden a unique perspective when he climbs into a desert race car as a co-driver.

After enough time racing, you learn a car's personality. You know what it's supposed to sound like and how it's supposed to feel. You notice when something minor changes.

"You learn every vibration and every noise," Braden said. "If something feels different than usual, you can start talking about it and figure out what might be happening."

That becomes especially valuable when the person sitting next to you has the same experience.

Braden and his father, Beau, aren't simply a driver and co-driver. They're both experienced drivers, constantly communicating about what they're feeling through the car. A vibration, a noise, or a change in how the car is behaving becomes an ongoing conversation between two drivers working together to understand the machine beneath them.

Vegas to Reno is one of the longest and most demanding off-road races in the United States. Heat, dust, rocks, elevation changes, and silt put enormous stress on both the vehicle and its occupants.

The 2026 race added another variable, with the course running in the opposite direction from its traditional format.

"Race cars want cool conditions and lots of air," Braden said. "When you're fighting the heat and the elevation, everything has to work harder."

Braden joined Beau and vehicle owner Steve Allen as part of the Dezert Dayz Racing team. Steve and his co-driver handled the first portion of the race before handing the car over to Braden and Beau at Race Mile 177 of 505.

The race wasn't trouble-free. Two rear axle failures required repairs and cost the team roughly 22 minutes. They made the repairs, got back on course, and kept pushing.

The goal from there was simple: drive fast, take care of the car, and don't make any unnecessary mistakes.

Desert racing is about more than speed. Fuel, maintenance, communication, speed zones, and countless decisions over hundreds of miles can all make or break a race.

Braden and the Dezert Dayz Racing team finished without a penalty. While other competitors dealt with mechanical problems and setbacks, the team kept moving forward and eventually secured the class victory.

After a season where the team had repeatedly shown the pace to win only to have something go wrong, finally getting the result meant a lot.

"We were good enough to win every race we had done this year," Braden said. "For one reason or another, it kept slipping away. It felt really good to finally get one."

The opportunity was made possible by vehicle owner Steve Allen.

"Steve brought my dad and me into the program because he knew as a team we were capable of winning," Braden said. "I'm thankful he gave us the opportunity."

A lot of the time, Braden isn't behind the wheel; he's behind the camera.

As Agency 6's videographer and content creator, he spends his time capturing products, vehicles, installations, and the people who use them. His racing experience gives him a different perspective when he does.

Braden understands what drivers notice because he is one. He knows what heat, vibration, dust, and repeated abuse can do to a vehicle because he's experienced it firsthand.

"My experience racing and being involved in the off-road world definitely helps my work at Agency 6," Braden said.

That perspective helps him understand not just what a product does, but where it matters and what it needs to withstand when you're miles from pavement.

Vegas to Reno isn't the end of Braden's racing career.

Outside of desert racing, Braden also competes in his own asphalt Legend Car, continuing to compete and develop as a driver. Between asphalt and off-road racing, Braden gets seat time in two very different environments, each demanding its own combination of precision, car control, and race craft.

The next major goal is the Baja 1000, an iconic race that will nearly double the distance of Vegas to Reno and bring an entirely new set of challenges.

Braden's approach to racing is simple: keep learning, keep improving, and don't give up.

"I've never been someone who quits," he explained. "What gives me the motivation is the fact that there have been things in my life that could have held me back from accomplishing what I have, but I still got to where I am today."

That mindset helped carry Braden and his team to victory in Nevada, and it's the same mindset he brings to everything he does at Agency 6.
